It depends what kind of mask you get. Usually masks that are gel based are designed for dry skin and help moisturize. Masks that are clay based are designed for oily/blemish prone skin and they help remove impurities from the pores as well as remove excess oil.
Try looking for a mask that contains Kaolin (which is a clay).
And yes it will help!!

Proactiv sells masks with sulfur in them. It really helps me with oil, and I have SUPER oily skin. You don't been to get the one Proactiv sells (the Refining Mask), but a clay mask with sulfur would be a good purchase.
