It's not really an imbalance. Most people grow in larger proportion on one side of their body.
For example the hair on my head, eyebrows and eyelashes grows thicker on my right side, as well as my right thigh and foot.

Sometimes whichever side you sleep on will have less hair. I would assume it's because you wear it off or something.
