i did it to my whole nose ones, and i broke out like mad i nthe morning .it only works on pimples.
no! it will dry out your skin! that's the reason it works on blemishes is because it dries them out and kills them.

Put teeny dabs on the pimples.
Toothpaste can be VERY strong, if you leave it on for too long, it'll irritate your skin. Especially minty ones. :)
